Now you can connect your 75-ohm dual-coax hardware to a 120-ohm, twisted-pair G.703 network. Balun Mate II also allows 120-ohm terminations on your 75-ohm network.
Use the single Balun MT256A-F to send TX and RX signals over one STP cable. This adapter has 1.6/5.6 dual-coax connectors.
Balun Mate II enables carriers and enterprise LANs to standardize on 120-ohm STP, even though some equipment may have unique E1 terminations. The 1.6/5.6 coax connectors are especially useful for Telcos and networks in Australia and France to terminate their E1 connections.
With its low-profile design, Balun Mate II takes only 2U of rack space in a 19-inch rack. It enables you to match impedance and signal characteristics of up to 16 dual-coax connections with up to 16 STP connections. You no longer have to buy expensive and space-hungry hardware for patching and distributing G.703 connections— everything you need is already in Balun Mate II!
In addition, you don’t need AC power or batteries; power is drawn from the interface.
