These 802.3at PoE Gigabit Injectors are UNH-IOL test lab certified for interoperability with other PoE equipment. They power 802.3at compliant devices, which require more power than that provided by standard PoE. In addition they are backward compatible with 802.3af standard equipment. Plus they support connections to Cisco® legacy equipment, including Cisco AP1250 Series access points running in full power mode. They also performs “two-finger” classification sequence, determining if connected devices require 802.3at-level power.
The injector hubs supports 10/100/1000-Mbps midspan data connections on RJ-45 inputs/outputs. They provide over voltage and over current overload protection as well as short circuit protection on the power output (per 802.3at specifications). The over temperature protection shuts the device down automatically without being damaged. And diagnostic LEDs indicate 802.3at device detection and alert you to faults. The also feature a USB port for diagnostics and manual port control via a Windows® GUI.
These PoE Gigabit injectors enable you to avoid installing AC power at a remote camera, access point, or thin client. Move equipment from room to room without costly, time-consuming rewiring. Use them for multiradio wireless access points, PTZ security cameras, IP phones containing streaming video displays, and LCDs.
The installation is simple plug-and-play. Just 1U high. Easy to install in a rack or cabinet with the included mounting kit.
