HDMI HD video over IP
This IP-based audio/video distribution solution uses existing standards-based Ethernet technology and TCP/IP protocols to unicast HDMI HD video signals on your Gigabit Ethernet network. In a multicast configuration, one transmitter can drive multiple receivers with no extra network load. You need just one transmitter for every AV source and one receiver for each screen. HD means better video The MediaCento IPX HD supports High Definition video for great pictures up to 1080p. Plug-and-play setup Whether you choose to utilize existing LAN infrastructure, or setup a dedicated video network, setup is easy. For a point-to-point extension (unicast setup), simply connect your source to a MediaCento transmitter, your display to a MediaCento receiver, and link both over a network switch, and you're ready go! PoE support for remote powering The MediaCento IPX HD is PoE powered eliminating the need for additional power supplies. Using a PoE network switch completely eliminates the need for external power supplies making installation easier and cost-efficient. Multicasting video one-to-many or many-to-many MediaCento IPX HD supports allows you easy system expansion at your own path. Share content on multiple screens just by connecting each screen through a MediaCento receiver to your video network. You can also add additional sources each connected via a MediaCento transmitter. For Multicasting, all MediaCento units need to be connected via the same network switch. To control a swithing matrix, you will also require a Media Cento Controller unit. Create 16x8 video walls Use the configurator on the remote unit and create video walls with up to 16 x 8 displays. For video streaming and multicasting video over a network to a video wall, combine MediaCento with the standalone MediaCento Controller (VSW-MC-CTRL) and create video walls with sizes up to 8x8. Signals that go for kilometres The MediaCento IPX HD system transmits signals up to 100 m point to point, but goes even further with a network switch added to the mix. Optimal PC-to-screen performance MediaCento IPX HD features EDID copy function and is HDCP 2.2-compliant supporting also protected contents from Blu-rays. Digital signage and video wall applications:
